Homeland's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Housing spans decades of Southern California suburban growth, from 1950s tract homes to current new-construction communities. Combined with the local climate — a mild climate overall, though inland valleys run noticeably hotter than beach communities just a few miles away — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
