Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Idledale's conditions — a dry, sunny climate with genuine seasonal extremes typical of the high plains at elevation — create exactly that. A blend of established Denver-metro neighborhoods and newer construction pushing outward along the Front Range. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Termite treatment starts with identifying exactly where the colony is accessing the structure, since a targeted approach is far more effective than a blanket treatment. Depending on the property, we recommend either a liquid soil treatment creating a barrier around the foundation, or a bait-station monitoring system that's checked on a schedule.
