Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Kingman's conditions — a punishing low-desert climate right on the Colorado River, where extreme heat and unusual river-driven humidity combine — create exactly that. A mix of stucco tract homes and manufactured housing, much of it clustered around riverfront or canal-front recreational development. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Termite treatment starts with identifying exactly where the colony is accessing the structure, since a targeted approach is far more effective than a blanket treatment. Depending on the property, we recommend either a liquid soil treatment creating a barrier around the foundation, or a bait-station monitoring system that's checked on a schedule.
