Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Langlois's conditions — a climate defined by a long, gray rainy season and a dry, pleasant summer, typical of western Oregon — create exactly that. Wood-frame homes dominate here, many older and built with crawl spaces vulnerable to the region's persistent winter moisture. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
