Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Leck Kill's conditions — a humid climate with hot summers and enough winter cold for regular snow — create exactly that. Housing spans centuries-old agricultural construction to newer suburban homes throughout the region. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
