Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Mcadoo's conditions — a humid continental climate with cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers, colder than Philadelphia to the south — create exactly that. Housing spans century-old coal-region construction to newer subdivisions throughout the Lehigh Valley. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
