Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Mccurtain's conditions — a climate more humid than central and western Oklahoma, with more consistent rainfall throughout the year — create exactly that. A mix of historic oil-boom-era homes in Tulsa and newer suburban development, alongside forested hill-country homes further out. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
