Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Mocksville's conditions — a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters, typical of the Piedmont — create exactly that. Crawl-space and slab construction is common here, built for the Piedmont's humid climate rather than deep winter cold. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
