Nesbit's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Mid-century homes and newer subdivisions share this area, with wooded, rolling lots more common than in the flat Delta to the west. Combined with the local climate — a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters, similar to the Delta but with more elevation and forest cover — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
