North Beach's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Historic brick rowhouses make up much of the older housing stock, alongside newer suburban subdivisions. Combined with the local climate — a climate shaped by the corridor's position between the Chesapeake Bay and the Piedmont, with genuine seasonal extremes — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
