Odell's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of older farmhouses and modest ranch homes on the flat prairie, most built with basements to handle harsh winters. Combined with the local climate — a four-season climate with real extremes — hot summers, cold winters, and everything in between — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
