Paris's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Housing here is often built into hillside terrain, ranging from historic rural homes to more modest recent construction. Combined with the local climate — a climate typical of Appalachian foothill country, with more precipitation and cooler temperatures at elevation — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
