Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Pavo's conditions — a hot, humid climate for most of the year, with coastal areas carrying genuine tropical-storm and hurricane risk — create exactly that. A blend of historic Southern homes and newer coastal-adjacent development shaped by the region's port and tourism economy. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
