Pearblossom's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Stucco and wood-frame homes on slab foundations dominate, designed around the valley's intense summer heat. Combined with the local climate — a hot-summer Mediterranean climate with intense summer heat, mild winters, and persistent winter tule fog — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
