Pearsall's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of Hill Country limestone-and-stucco homes and newer suburban development around Austin and San Antonio, most on slab foundations. Combined with the local climate — a climate with hot summers and mild winters, growing progressively warmer and drier the further south toward the border — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
