Quanah's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A mix of older agricultural-town homes and newer construction tied to the region's oil and gas economy, most on slab foundations. Combined with the local climate — a true desert climate near El Paso, with a drier, higher-elevation climate across the rest of West Texas and the Panhandle — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
