Termites don't announce themselves the way most pests do. In Rains, a coastal climate defined by high humidity, mild winters, and heavy rainfall much of the year, and Elevated and pier-foundation construction is common given constant flood risk from surrounding marsh and tidal waterways. Regular inspection is the only reliable way to catch a colony before it causes real structural damage.
Termite treatment starts with identifying exactly where the colony is accessing the structure, since a targeted approach is far more effective than a blanket treatment. Depending on the property, we recommend either a liquid soil treatment creating a barrier around the foundation, or a bait-station monitoring system that's checked on a schedule.
