Rhododendron's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Housing spans historic Willamette Valley farmhouses to newer suburban subdivisions, most built to handle sustained winter rainfall. Combined with the local climate — a mild four-season climate without harsh winter cold, but with genuinely wet conditions much of the year — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
