Roans Prairie's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Slab-on-grade homes dominate, built to handle the region's heavy rainfall and flat, flood-prone terrain. Combined with the local climate — one of the most humid climates in the continental U.S., with year-round pest activity and minimal winter dormancy — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
