Rociada's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Historic adobe and territorial-style homes are common in the older mountain villages, alongside newer construction built for snow. Combined with the local climate — a mountain climate shaped by elevation — some towns here sit above 8,500 feet with genuinely severe winters — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
