Termites don't announce themselves the way most pests do. In Rome, a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters, typical of the Piedmont, cooler in the mountains to the north, and Crawl-space and slab construction is common here, built for the region's humid climate rather than deep winter cold. Regular inspection is the only reliable way to catch a colony before it causes real structural damage.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
