Termites don't announce themselves the way most pests do. In Ross, a mild Mediterranean climate moderated by coastal fog, with cool, wet winters and dry, mild summers, and Wood-frame homes dominate the older neighborhoods, while newer construction increasingly means dense multi-unit buildings. Regular inspection is the only reliable way to catch a colony before it causes real structural damage.
Termite treatment starts with identifying exactly where the colony is accessing the structure, since a targeted approach is far more effective than a blanket treatment. Depending on the property, we recommend either a liquid soil treatment creating a barrier around the foundation, or a bait-station monitoring system that's checked on a schedule.
