Seaside's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A blend of established coastal towns and newer construction, both shaped by the region's mild, moisture-moderate climate. Combined with the local climate — a mild climate with persistent coastal fog in many areas, especially closer to the shoreline — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
