Shelby's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Wood-frame farmhouses dominate the rural landscape, alongside brick homes in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Combined with the local climate — a climate shaped by the region's flat, exposed farmland, prone to strong winds and rapid weather changes — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
