Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Spavinaw's conditions — a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers, colder winters than western Oklahoma, and a real spring severe-weather season — create exactly that. Slab and crawl-space construction both appear here, common throughout this more humid part of the state. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
