Stateline's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Mountain-style wood-frame homes and cabins dominate, built to withstand heavy Sierra Nevada snowfall. Combined with the local climate — a four-season mountain climate with real winter snowfall, cool summers, and none of the extreme heat found in the rest of Nevada — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
