Stella's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Basements are standard here given the region's cold winters and severe-storm exposure. Combined with the local climate — a humid continental climate with hot, humid summers, cold winters, and a real severe-weather season each spring — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
