Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Sun Valley's conditions — an arid plateau climate defined by extremes — hot days, cold nights, and real winter cold despite being desert terrain — create exactly that. A mix of traditional and modern single-family homes, manufactured housing, and newer tribal housing developments spread across a large, sparsely populated area. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
