Tifton's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. A blend of historic Southern homes and newer coastal-adjacent development shaped by the region's port and tourism economy. Combined with the local climate — a hot, humid climate for most of the year, with coastal areas carrying genuine tropical-storm and hurricane risk — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
