Tillatoba's housing stock is part of what determines termite risk. Older wood-frame construction is common throughout the Delta, much of it on crawl spaces that trap moisture given the region's high water table. Combined with the local climate — a climate defined by heat and humidity for most of the year, moderated only slightly by mild Delta winters — soil-to-wood contact points around the foundation are the most common entry route.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
