Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Tolleson's conditions — one of the hottest urban climates in North America, with triple-digit heat for months at a stretch and winters mild enough that pests rarely fully die back — create exactly that. Predominantly slab-on-grade stucco homes from the 1970s-2010s desert suburban boom, with block-wall backyards and no basements. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
