Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Volcano's conditions — a climate shaped by intensive irrigation agriculture, with hot, dry summers and damp winter fog — create exactly that. A blend of established farming communities and newer tract housing, built for extreme summer heat rather than winter cold. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Termite treatment starts with identifying exactly where the colony is accessing the structure, since a targeted approach is far more effective than a blanket treatment. Depending on the property, we recommend either a liquid soil treatment creating a barrier around the foundation, or a bait-station monitoring system that's checked on a schedule.
