Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Winnebago's conditions — a humid climate with hot summers and winters cold enough for sustained snow cover — create exactly that. Housing spans century-old agricultural construction to newer suburban development around Peoria and Bloomington-Normal. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
