Subterranean termites need soil contact and moisture to thrive, and Woodleaf's conditions — a climate shaped by the Piedmont's inland position, warmer than the mountains to the west and milder than the coast in winter — create exactly that. Housing spans established mid-century neighborhoods to brand-new subdivisions throughout this fast-growing corridor. Termite colonies can go undetected for years, quietly compromising structural wood the entire time.
Because termite colonies operate underground and out of sight, our process leans heavily on inspection: checking every foundation wall, sill plate, and crawl space for activity. From there we deploy either soil treatment or a Sentricon-style bait and monitoring program, both backed by a written service report.
