Wasps and hornets build nests in a wide range of spots around a Fort Huachuca property — eaves, attic vents, ground burrows, dense shrubs — often going unnoticed until activity picks up. A mix of older adobe and block-construction homes near town centers with newer stucco-and-block subdivisions on the outskirts, plus manufactured housing common in rural stretches.
Our process starts with correctly identifying the species, since honeybees, wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets all require different handling. Aggressive stinging insects like yellowjackets and hornets get direct nest treatment; honeybee colonies get relocated by a beekeeper whenever possible, since they're a protected and beneficial species.
