German cockroaches favor warm, humid spaces near food and water — kitchens, behind appliances, under sinks — and Winkelman's a climate positioned between the desert floor and the mountains — warmer than the high country, milder than the Phoenix valley, with real summer monsoons keeps them active most of the year. American cockroaches, larger and reddish-brown, prefer basements, drains, and utility rooms. A mix of early-to-mid-20th-century mining-company housing, later ranch-style homes, and newer construction, often built into hillside terrain.
Because sanitation and moisture are almost always part of the problem, our process pairs targeted gel-bait treatment with a review of what's drawing roaches in — a leak, exposed food storage, cluttered voids. Broadcast sprays just scatter a colony; bait placed at the harborage site eliminates it. A follow-up visit confirms results.
