Mosquitoes need standing water to breed, and ticks need tall grass, leaf litter, or brush to ambush a host — both of which are common features of Estacada properties. a mild four-season climate without harsh winter cold, but with genuinely wet conditions much of the year extends the active season for both considerably.
Our approach starts with identifying every standing-water source and brush or tall-grass area on the property, since those are where mosquitoes breed and ticks wait for a host. We treat vegetation and resting areas with a barrier spray and apply larvicide to any water that can't be drained, repeating on a seasonal schedule for ongoing control.
