Gasquet's housing stock shapes exactly where rodents get in. A mix of older wood-frame homes built into forested terrain and newer construction, most vulnerable to moisture given the persistently wet climate. Combined with the area's climate — a temperate rainforest climate typical of the redwood coast, wetter and cooler than almost anywhere else in the state — rodents seeking shelter from weather extremes make a beeline for any accessible gap.
Our process treats rodent control as a sealing problem first and a trapping problem second. We inspect the full exterior for entry points, seal what we find, then use snap traps or tamper-resistant bait stations indoors to clear whatever is already inside. A follow-up visit verifies no new activity.
